It's another great time for summer vacation and Palawan Philippines offers us the fantastic and marvelous Underground River in Puerto Princesa. Palawan iis an island province of the Philippines that is located in the MIMAROPA region or Region 4. Its capital is Puerto Princesa City, and it is the largest province in the country in terms of total area of jurisdiction. The islands of Palawan stretch from Mindoro in the northeast to Borneo in the southwest. It lies between the South China Sea and the Sulu Sea.

Underground River is once and always nominated among the seven wonders of the world. Palawan people is very polite and very kind. Once you're inside the cave, you will surely be amazed and you will witness the extravagant rock formations.

How to get to Underground River Palawan?
Ride an Airplane going to Puerto Princesa Palawan from Manila.
Visit the PPUR Office at the City Coliseum. To get to the City Coliseum one can ride a tricycle from the airport or town proper of Puerto Princesa. Fare is 10 – 12 Pesos per person depending from where you are. Estimated Travel Time is 5-10 minutes.

Tips and Reminders
Do not leave your valuables unattended.
Swimming is prohibited inside the cave.
In any case, do not destroy rock formations or anything inside the cave.
