A robot has found remains at a depth of 3.8 km from the seabed. Experts say that the Titan suffered an implosion (sinking and breaking inside the walls by external pressure). The US Coast Guard reports location of debris next to the Titanic.
Media claims that the remains found in the ocean are parts of the lost submarine that was heading towards the Titanic area. The landing frame and a rear deck of the submersible were identified among the debris.
This confirms the death of the 5 crew members on board.
