There are some rules being implemented during the whale shark watching: Touching, chasing or riding the whale shark is strictly prohibited, Flash photography is now allowed, you only need to use the paddle boats (motor boats are not allowed), you are only allowed to watch 30 minutes to avoid crowding.

Bus: Go to Cebu South Bus Terminal located in N. Bacalso Avenue and take Ceres or Sunrays Bus.

Air-conditioned Buses – Php 154.00


Private Cars: Go straight from N. Bacalso Avenue until you reach the overpass in Mambaling Cebu. Left turn heading to SRP – South Reclamation Project for less traffic.

  4. The only thing i didnt like about the whalw shark watching and snorkling was the photo of a young lady who was on top of the whaleshark and the boat guide even allowed it. I just hope that they will not allow it anymore. Whalesharks are not horse to be ride on. I mean they do have a briefing before the allowing the tourists to snorkle with the magnificient animal but while did they allow it??? If only the animal can speak about it. Keep in mind they can get stress from it as well. Unlike in Donsol,we have to look for it and chase it. There in Oslob, residents there are very lucky about it. I only wish that they will not abuse it.
